Final result - Reuse.Remake.Reinvent

I've finally created a piece of furniture! It was a long and hard struggle, but I learn't so much from it. After dissembling my piece of furniture, which I found from the streets, I had to create another piece with a different function. I had many pieces of wooden planks, and so I decided to create a modular shelf. I'm generally inspired by taking a certain shape and replicating it into an interesting form, which is evident from my final product. My final inspiration was from Martino Gamper, as I realized he had produced something very similar to my idea.
Creating such a piece required a lot of effort. I remember trying to cut the planks into different sizes, and sawing each of them was quite tough. And then the worst part came; putting the pieces together. First I tried drilling, and the holes didn't go straight into the wood. Then came hammering; the nails went sideways. Both ways lead to the wood chipping. I was so frustrated, I thought I might as well give up. But then I tried out a combination of glue gun and wood glue; surprisingly it worked! Although it wasn't strong enough, it somehow managed to stand up. I was quite happy with the result.
